Our area is know for many things. Schrock Kitchen cabinetry, C.H.I. Garage Doors, and Progress Tanks are national scale products made here in Arthur.
We are also known for having the 4th largest Amish settlement in the countryside immediately surrounding our town. The Arthur Amish settlement is widely know for custom furniture and cabinetry and drives a larger "tourist" industry in the area. This tourist attraction ranks highly in Illinois, right behind Chicago itself, and the many Lincoln sites that Illinois is famous for.
